EL 9133: Biomedical Signal Processing

Fall 2009, Spring 2008

Description

This course illustrates techniques of signal processing to the analysis and processing of biomedical signals. The course reinforces concepts and techniques in signal processing and introduces common biomedical signals (action potentials, EMG, ECG, EEG, heart and respiratory signals). Weekly programming assignments will give the student practice implementing signal processing methods on real biomedical data.

Prerequisites

Signal, Systems and Transforms; MATLAB.
