INTRUSION PREVENTION SYSTEM (IPS) PROJECT

Today, to prevent sophisticated attacks that target flaws in protocols or applications, the packet header as well as packet payload should be inspected. Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) uses this information dynamically to response the the rapidly evolving attack types and prevent them from damaging the valuable assets of the protected systems.

Our work, as part of the CYSEP project, focuses on designing a high performance, reliable Intrusion Detection and Prevention System.
